Fun, lighthearted yet softly sad final book written by Terry Pratchett.

Me recuerda bastante a [b:Me vestiré de medianoche|18453829|Me vestiré de medianoche|Terry Pratchett|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1378200783s/18453829.jpg|9934116] (las brujas unidas jamás serán vencidas, Tiffany encuentra su camino en el mundo brujil, la amenaza no tiene ni media hostia), lo cual, aunque parezca mentira, se agradece, porque significa que es mejor que [b:Raising Steam|11275323|Raising Steam (Discworld, #40)|Terry Pratchett|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1375882313s/11275323.jpg|16202400], probablemente la segunda peor novela de Pratchett. En los últimos años no disfrutaba mucho con Pratchett y en este lo he vuelto a hacer, aunque es evidente que el libro es como una esponja deshidratada: todavía le faltaba hincharse con más revisiones. Bueno. ¡A vivir, que son dos días!
I couldn't figure out why I didn't immediately love the writing in this as much as his pre-mortem-published works. One, of course, is that he didn't write or format every sentence. However, there are probably a number of superfans out there who could do just as serviceable a job as his daughter did - and it is done quite well. Then I realized that it was a Tiffany Aching book, and as such geared for slightly younger YA readers, so the jokes were a bit toned down.
Still the same voice, and I could not tell sentence-to-sentence where Terry ended and his daughter began. Overall, though, it was not the same.
Still, enjoyable as all get out, and I'm honored to have now (with hundreds of thousands of others) now read the entire Discworld series as it will stand, barring money-grabbing reworks and collections. :)
