This was a cutely angsty (!?) instalove novella - an interesting mix. I don’t mind a silly premise (the FMC and MMC were best friends, he went off to be a famous rock star, and then 8 years later sends her an invitation to their own wedding), but this felt a little drawn out despite the story only being 60 pages. 

Still entertaining though. Other than the light angst, it had a similar vibe to other Cassie Mint novellas I’ve read (sweet and steamy, kind of earnest).

This was a super cute friends to lovers, two childhood friends have been estranged for a few years but the rockstar Dalton finally feels ready to go after his girl.
I did feel like Alba changed her mind really fast after the whole paparazzi part, but they were meant to be and adorable. It’s a novella after all.
