This is the third book in the Bree Taggert series and the author is continuing to nail it. Now this aren’t your John Sanford or James Patterson murder mystery, but they stay in their lane and are still a great relaxing read.

I enjoyed his third book in the series. The crimes make for an intriguing mystery hour some of the clues should have been more obvious to Bree and Matt earlier. The villain actually occurred to me pretty early on but some good red herrings had me doubting my belief.
The romance story is moving at a glacial pace which is frustrating. Matt truly has the patience of a saint. I kept waiting for a couple of story elements to pop up as issues later on but they didn’t . I’m wondering if they will become issues in a future book.
I part read the ebook and part listened to the audiobook. The audiobook was well done except the voice for Matt. Not only does it not sound like the character to me but it is much to low volume wise. I missed so much of what he was saying since if I turned it up to hear him more clearly the rest of the book was blasting. How did the sound engineer not recognize this? It’s so obvious. And it’s much worse when listening in a car than via a speaker or headphones. It’s too bad because it really made for frustrating listening which dulled my enjoyment of the book.

This is easily one of my favorite series/authors and this book definitely did not disappoint. I’m just sad it’s over and can’t wait for the next one!

This book was good but it was lacking something. Not as good as the first few. Still a good story and a great twist!

I love Bree Taggert, Matt, and everything in this book. The mystery was good and it kept me guessing. I thought I knew who it was and I was wrong. I like that we saw a bit more of Bree's home life with the kids and Dana but the progression of Bree's and Matt's relationship is slower than a sloth crossing the street!
