Didn't  think Luca and Gretchen would win my heart over Dom and Drew but they truly did. How she was there for Luca when he was in the hospital even though they have only had a few conversations shows the caring and loving person she is . Loved when she said she was his wife lol. I don't like cheaters but i think Lucas and Gretchen didn't cheat Luca wanted a divorce but at the time his hate was more important to let his wife go. Thr best part of their relationship was them getting to know each other before they did anything. Gretchen was Lucas match she feisty and doesnt back down to no man. Im glad Luca let his need for revenge for Grerchen and Ella. Great book cant wait to get to Danta and Sara .

How on earth did I refer to Luca as Dom’s sweet little twin brother in the last book, Truth?
Silly me, my mistake!
Luca might be the real King of my Heart! Sorry, Dominic! Luca turns into a fluffy teddy bear when it comes to Ella his precious 6 months old daughter! Yet is a calculating monster like Dom, if he needs to be! That’s just the King family!

*Be warned your kindle will melt because this book is a red hot romance with little taboo treats sprinkled all around!

Truth, left us with Gretchen at Luca’s hospital bedside never letting go, while his wife, a term I use loosely, Shelby, was calling lawyers to make sure she got money as soon as he was dead. The hatred I had for Shelby plus the already love at first sight moments Gretchen had with Luca, made a normally sane and moral woman as myself cheer for the couple to have an affair and for Luca to leave his wife🤦🏼‍♀️ I felt bad, but then learning more about Shelby and their sweet daughter Ella, I didn’t feel that bad. It is FICTION after all! 😉 There is a difference between the real world and the book world!

Gretchen is brilliant, gorgeous, sassy, and knows her worth! She will not put up with any of Luca’s macho Mafia boss-ish crap...except when she wants to😉 As always it’s on her terms!

This book is such a sexy slow burn! Gretchen and Luka have a magnetic pull to one another, but not wanting to be a mistress G fights it. Oh The Chase! L&G love the hunt, the chase, and the sweet wonderful catch! These two are fire!

The moments in the forbidden Church make things steamier. I love how the author leaves so much of what goes on in each dark, locked room to the reader’s imagination.

Each character is deep and well developed. Both deal with family, loss, and the question of who are they supposed to be! Luca is darker and more involved in the family than expected. Like Drew, Gretchen was surprised how dark she was willing to go! There are twists and turns throughout! We learn so much about the family!

That is my long-winded way of saying I love this book, this family of characters, and I cannot wait to see what/who the future books have in store!

There are two new couples I’m already rooting for!

Wow 5⭐ fanfreaking stars for this book I wish I could give me.

When I first read "Truth" the first book about the King brother's I just fell in love with Dominic, but I have to say after meeting Luca of getting a taste of what was to come in his book omg this man is absolutely swoon worthy. This man I swear could melt butter with his sexy af talk and just a look.

Gretchen who you meet in the 1st book as well is Drew's friend and her and Luca have this spark, but she knows he's married so he's off limits she just doesn't know the circumstances of his marriage nor does she know he has a dark side which he tries to keep away from her but to no avail.

I just have to say this book was so worth the wait Thank you to Trilina for making this book more so much more. Now we need to get ready for the 3rd book of the last brother that they find out they didn't know they had "Dante".

This is a absolute must read of a book and just a word of warning it does need to come with it's own warning level because the sex scenes were hot af just saying, but don't take my word for it one click it and find out for yourself.

This is just my opinion and my review

Uh I so wish I could give more than just 5 stars!!! I absolutely loved this book and have found my next one-click author.

This book has it all a broody alphahole who is a hot single dad with the ability to hold a grudge like no one else. A beautiful brazen hero who refuses to play second place. This is Gretchen and Luca's story. Love is not always black and white as there are many shades of grey. We learn this as we follow Luca and Gretchen on their journey to find the happiness they both deserve.

This is a love story, but it is not as easy as one would hope. There are a lot of outside factors that come into play. As much as you wish that it would fall right into place it takes A LOT of work for those involved to see just what can be lost if we don't fight for what it is we actually want.

Luca Knight is a force to be reckoned with when backed into a corner. In Truth we get the idea that he is the quiet one that takes all things in stride. Um let's just say that is so not the case. He will do just about anything for those he holds close to his heart. Especially his girls, no one gets away with messing with them. Gretchen is just as sassy in this book as she was in the last. She is stronger than she gives herself credit for. I get that this review may seem kinda vague, but I refuse to spoil just what a great book this is.

The secondary characters are well written and am so looking forward to ALL of their stories as well.

Just when I thought there was no way I could like someone more than Dominic, in came Luca. Holy Alpha Hotness right there ❤️ And he Rocked. My. World!

I knew I was going to love Gretchen after meeting her as Drew’s best friend in Truth, but I loved her more than I thought I would. Her inner strength was inspiring. She knows her worth and what she is willing to compromise, or not and won’t take anything less than what she deserves!

I loved the journey of these two coming together, despite different setbacks and obstacles. Working through their friendship to become what we knew they should’ve been all along. 😍 Absolute Perfection.

Well done Ms. Pucci! I will be anxiously (not so patiently) awaiting the next book in this series!
