Another fantastic entry in the Innkeeper Chronicles.
Really no romance in this one, but tons of drama and political intrigue as Dina hosts a peace summit between multiple species. We get to see more of The Gertrude Hunt’s powers and capabilities (she’s such a good little magical inn!).

This was such a great second installment. All I want now is more Dina and Sean! More, I tell you, more!

I like the world creation, very rich and builds on the back story from book 1. Disappointed that Sean was MIA, though I understand the author intends to bring him back. Would like perhaps less life and death and more exploring what it means to be an Innkeeper in terms of ongoing connections to the local community (outside of that one police guy.)
