This was a very enjoyable debut thriller. Although highly unbelievable, it was fast paced and entertaining. While I had my suspicions about who was really who was tormenting Nicole early, there were still a few unexpected twists. Thanks to NetGalley for the digital ARC.

I heard about this book on TSNTYAW podcast with Bianca Marais, and thought the premise sounded intriguing and I enjoyed hearing about how it came together after many years. I thought the parallels between the two characters were interesting and while the plot did get a bit complicated, I was curious enough to read right through. It's very short, and an enjoyable way to pass a Sunday afternoon.

Happy Reading, friends!

Special thanks to Simon & Schuster for providing our copy of Woman on the Edge
by Samantha M. Bailey in exchange for an honest & fair review.

Read the first few pages of Woman on the Edge & just try to put the book down.

Thrilling & Fast-Paced

First, I love that this is a shorter read. It seems in the last few months I've read loads of books that needed a healthy dose of editing. Well, Woman on the Edge is short, thrilling & a great binge-worthy read. This is just what I need at this time!

There's a lot to like here. The first half has me tearing through the pages. In the second half, I'm like TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED! I think I have it figured out, but no.

THE VERDICT

I am Into This book! Woman on the Edge is a wild, captivating & tense ride. Anyone looking to escape life & get sucked into a story for a bit will enjoy this one.

I LOVED this book and found myself needing to know more. How are Morgan and Nicole connected? Why didn't Nicole trust her family to care for Quinn? kept running through my head as I read this book.

The plot was fast-paced and full of twists. Each character was so likable it was hard to picture them doing terrible things to Nicole. I definitely did not see the end coming. The story is told from alternating perspectives and the short chapters make for an easy read.

I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good family thriller full of unexpected secrets.

A very fast paced page turner! I was gripped until the end of this. A couple of twists, but I don’t want to give anything away. I was hooked and finished it quickly. Definitely recommend this author and I will be reading more by her. Thank you to Netgalley, the publishers and the author for the e-arc.

3.5 stars!

I’d been dying to read this and I’m so glad I did. It was a very interesting thriller, but not as engaging as I would’ve hoped. I found the plot to be enjoyable if not a little predictable, but I enjoyed the dual perspective and dual timeline to help put it all together!

Easy read, interesting twists and turns.

Predictable and quite cheesy.

This is my favourite way for a thriller to be structured. Alternating POVs, short chapters, and filled with characters who all have a purpose to the story.

Really enjoyed this one. Excited to see what [a:Samantha M. Bailey|18866039|Samantha M. Bailey|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1549837997p2/18866039.jpg] comes out with next!
