I absolutely loved this! As usual, Thich Nhat Hanh shares his teachings with specificity, clarity, and compassion. Though he’s 1000x more enlightened than me lol, he never talks down to us as he teaches. He would warn me not to compare ourselves in this manner anyway, reminding me that we’re all one inter-being. This texts covers a lot of ground in a short 5hr audiobook, but I think the most salient sections were on dying, both of the self and of loved ones. Nhat Hanh reminds us that we have more bodies than just our physical bodies. While those will inevitably die, as Nhat Hanh recently has, our other bodies (e.g. spiritual practice body, community body, Buddha body, etc.) live on. I plan to buy some physical copies of this to give as gifts, which is one of my highest book compliments!
