Een magisch leuk boek over een opa en zijn kleinkinderen die een supertof en leuk avontuur beleven. Ik vond het erg goed geschreven (al vond ik het heeeel vreemd dat de opa zijn kleinkinderen luitjes noemde) en erg leuk van dat kompas en de ansichtkaarten. Nu wil ik ook wel zo'n kompas! Al gaat er wel heel wat fout.. dus misschien ook maar niet doen? Haha. Ach ik neem de slechte dingen wel voor lief. Het einde was erg zoet!

4 grandkids go on fantastical adventures with their Grandude. Fun illustrations, but the story just seemed a bit choppy for my tastes.

Jokes aside, I miss being a young kid reading picture books all day. I thank my favourite Beatle for reminding me of a simpler time.

My 6yo has had this out of the library twice. The silliness of the talking cows and just the name Grandude continue to make us laugh. The repetition of Grandude’s key magic phrases does get a little annoying on the reader side of things but the kid enjoys it and that’s the main thing. Fun illustrations, too.
