This was my first Denver Shaw read, but it won't be my last... the heat and sweet combination of Caden and Noah was outstanding! I loved their relationship and the stumbling blocks they faced... I had a bit harder time with the side elements of the story, but it didn't pull me out of the love story too much...
It will be interesting to see where the second book and the series go after this one and I'm there for it!

If youโre into quick, smooshy, streamlined romances, then this is a good pick. There was lots of story and sweet times packed into this short read.
I liked both Caden and Noah as characters - theyโre just a couple of squishy boys looking for their HEA. The little bit of drama keeping them apart throughout the story actually played out really well.
The MVP here goes to Austin

I really enjoyed this storyline. I loved the focus on MMA and the fighters. I loved that we had sweet and fluff and also some small angst and fighting. This book really had me hooked from the beginning. I had no issues getting into the characters and enjoyed the world. I can't wait for more from this series

Caden, a MMA fighter who also fights in illegal rings to help his brother, finds a instant spark with a spectator at one of his fights. He just can't seem to shake him out of his head.
Noah, a clean laced, well dressed, overworked social worker. He takes a night off work to attend a fight with a boy he had helped in the past who calls him Uncle, where he finds a instant spark with a guy who helps him find his seat. This guy ends up being one of the fighters. He can't seem to get him out of his head the whole weekend and come Monday morning he has a hard time focusing on work.
This novel is such a push and pull between what is right, and what feels right. Will they give in to temptation and just be right for each other or will they let it break them and walk away forever?
There is chemistry, passion, friendship, and heartache wrapped in a tiny bow of Caden and Noah. This was a slow read for me, I personally enjoy stories that move a little faster. The plot is good but almost feel like you know what is going to happen before it does, this is the reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.
I was given this book as an ARC in trade for a honest review.

Worth the Fight is book 1 in the brand new Winning at Love Series by a new-to-me author. It centers around social worker, Noah, and MMA fighter, Caden. Noah is straight-laced but drawn to the gorgeous cage fighter. Caden is fighting dirty to save his brother but all he wants is Noah. These two navigate some major push and pull for half the book but their chemistry is constantly simmering in the background. Their love was genuine and sweet and passionate.
So I REALLY like both MCs. Noah is true to himself and seems compassionate and sincere in everything he does. Caden is bound by familial pulls but is the best guy deep down. Heโs willing to do what he can to win Noah over and even though Noah fights it, he canโt resist the pull eventually.
This honestly felt more plot heavy. Noah job as a social worker, his past with his father, Cadenโs family, and Noahโs protection of Austin are all more page time than the romance. But thereโs quite a few sexy times and while I wish we got more on page relationship development, I enjoyed the story.
