A heartbreaking but life-affirming young adult romance.

The book explores Savanna and Cael’s grief journey following the loss of their older siblings. Within a group they travel across the world to process and heal from their grief,

Whilst the romance itself is predictable, how each of the countries visited mirrors the stages of grief is well thought out and beautifully written.

The links back to Poppy and Rune throughout the book made me the most emotional. The perfect book if you need a good cry but a happy ending.

I loved the first book and found it really emotional. There was parts in this book that I teared up,  and one moment of complete sobbing, but I found all the times that Cael and Savannah spoke about how much they loved each other, and how beautiful she is, and how many tattoos he has a bit annoying. I get that love is a driver in these books, but there’s was a little bit annoying..
