I find it really ironic that the cats from the previous books are lecturing these three about following the warrior code and the rules when they all broke them constantly, ie: going on quests for starclan, being friends/mates with cats outside their clans and helping other clans in need.

These cats never really learn from the older generation's past mistakes, do they? I'm specifically looking at Lionpaw: having a close friend in another clan, taking advice from Tigerstar. It's the same stuff as the other story arcs, just with different cats.

Hollypaw thinks too much about the Warrior code, Jaypaw doesn't think about it hard enough. I guess it is a matter of them learning throughout the stories and growing, but they're just so entitled and stupid.

I still enjoyed this and will be reading the next.

Good, though this one was kind of a drag on until the end. though I enjoyed it. Jaypaw is still my favorite character

Like the introduction of new ancient clan, easier to visualize new camp in my mind, Jaypaw’s abilities are amazing, same mistakes repeated by new generations, Tigerstar still lingers, some things seem a little too implausible
