Ah, yes. The volume where we discover that Jinwoo’s greatest weakness isn’t an overpowered enemy, but his absolute inability to name things. The man can level cities, command an army of terrifying shadow warriors, and single-handedly reshape the balance of power in the world, but ask him to come up with a guild name, and suddenly, he’s as helpless as a lost puppy. Solo Play? Really? Were all the good names already taken? Did no one stop you?

The facial expressions in this volume are top-tier. Especially Jinho’s. There’s a certain kind of artistry in a man’s face contorting in sheer disbelief at the absurdity surrounding him, and this manga just delivers on that front spectacularly. On the other hand, what it doesn’t deliver on is the cringeworthy dialogue between Jinwoo and Hae-In. A romance subplot ambushing us from the shadows. Because that felt like a sneak attack, and not in a good way.

On a more promising note, Jinwoo’s minions are getting a lot more personality, and honestly, it’s about time. Iron and Igris have always been standouts, but now the others are starting to shine, and I’m all for it. If we’re going to have a shadow army, we might as well get to know them.

I’m getting very tired of everyone in this world treating Jinwoo like he’s some kind of divine figure. Yes, he’s absurdly strong, but come on, where’s the fun if he’s just being idolized all the time? Thankfully, new villains have arrived, and they actually look like a challenge.
