A quick 80’page novella to kickstart the entire Robert Hunter series! No twist or anything just like a nice introductory book about the character who will be our MMC for the entire series. Fast paced and thorough.

Another fantastic addition to Chris Carters "Robert Hunter" novels. This guy really knows how to create over the top gruesome serial killers. I was going to encourage my Mother to read these but I'm concerned she may move in with us for protection.

Smart prodigy solving murders. Could be too smart to be good in a novel, I'll see how he does.

This was a good introduction to Detective Robert Hunter.  The story is short but perfectly formed - the pace is great & it’s not over or under stuffed on the plot points.  I’ve already read The Crucifix Killer, and this has me looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

This was my first Chris Carter read, and I was very impressed. I loved the writing style, and this was around 50 pages, so I flew through it. It's the first in the Robert Hunter series, and I can't wait to read the next book.

This is the 0.5 part of the whole detective Hunter series. It was a pretty short read, but serves its purpose as an introduction of Robert Hunter. Actually it was not more than an introduction, since the crime plot was simply too basic. It doesn’t change that I liked the book, though, which is because Chris Carter is excellent at writing characters. 5 out of 5 stars
