Helen and Jake are so cute. Love Helen’s journey to be what she needed for herself and Jake’s long lasting torch he’s held for her. I do kind of wish there had been a little more depth between them at the end. But the short story at the end of “What You Wish For” gives us that. Very sweet.

Sweet quick story. I enjoyed the backpacking bits the most, no surprise there, but a happy ending is nice. Not sure this was a particularly realistic wilderness course, but amusing nonetheless.

This was my first read by Katherine Center. It was a light summer read, and I enjoyed the setting of being on the trail. Although it was light, it also had some really nice thoughts to chew on, and I was happy for the way everyone "grew up" as the book progressed. A nice book at the right time. Enjoy!
