The only good thing about this book is the ending. Literally at the 97% mark. I don't mind Charles or Anna but it's like PB can't write anything without making women characters victims or SA victims. SA is not the only thing that makes women survivors, resilient or tough. It's old, tiring and just makes me want to not power through this series. The decade the series came out in is not an excuse.
