I had to chuckle at the "large coffee to go" that was listed for food that Americans enjoy. lol
A gorgeous volume, and a fantastic idea, but this is far from exhaustive. Only a handful of nations have their own spreads, which left me wanting far more.
Very creative idea! I wish it contained even more countries and I am curious as to how the authors decided which to include and which aspects of each country to include in the maps. Perfect for all ages.
4 stars? 5 stars? This is so joyous--I want to cover my apartment in all these maps. While I understand this is not meant to be a complete world atlas, I was a little perplexed that the creators skipped almost entirely over the Middle East region (excepting Jordan) and the Caribbean. Still. SO AWESOME.
Really fun and educational; my kids love looking at these maps together. (Doesn’t include every single country.)
