I think she is losing ideas here. it was a fast read but not as good as the other 13 books in the series.

I loved this book, but I have to say the ending was quite abrupt. It didn't resolve anything! I guess that means there will have to be another!

If you have read the previous Stephanie Plum books, you'll probably read this one, no matter what my review. Which is this, I'm a big fan, but I think it's about time to either wrap up this series, and love triangle, once and for all or; take the mysteries up a couple of notches.

I laughed so hard while reading this book, tears poured down my face. When people in the lunchroom asked what I was reading, I could barely sputter out, "Lula...and Brenda-the-aging-singer...and Carl-the-monkey!!" And then there was the scene at dinner at Stephanie's parents' house.... Oh my.
Basically, it was a pretty normal Stephanie Plum adventure. A little less Ranger than some, plentiful swearing & other colorful language, some sexual innuendo, a lot of quirky characters (the regulars plus some new ones), and Evanovich's signature writing style. I thought the middle was funnier than the end, and I would have liked a bit more Grandma Mazur & Ranger by the end, but that's really quibbling over trivialities compared to the hilarity of the majority of the book. Fun read!! Just beware of reading in public places. :)

This one is another of my most favorites. All the random ass people showing up in Joe’s yard to dig and look for the buried treasure - aka 9 mil from a bank robbery. Him spraying them with the hose, Mooner shooting shit at them with potato guns. Its off the MF chain 😂 Joe asks Stephanie if she’d slit his throat for the money and she just says “not for the money, no” like but the throat slitting remains on the board Joe, keep your shit together 😂
