Devoured in mere days, these three novellas span the unusual tale of Stephen Leeds and his many aspects.
I really enjoyed the concept and the level of care put into actualizing how Leed's abilities manifest. And while the pacing varied widely by volume in my opinion, I enjoyed the overall story and look forward to some more Brando Sando.
PS: Pay attention to the chapter number artwork as you read. The words aren't the only storytellers here.

The first story is pretty good, and shows a lot of promise.
The second story delivers on this promise, and I enjoyed it a lot.
The third story fails to deliver as much, but is satisfying enough.
Overall, If you're a fan of Sanderson's writing and you're looking for a lighter read (or three), then I'd recommend it. This is the position I found myself in, and it worked pretty well for me. Otherwise, I'd say read something else.

This was a very interesting story. Stephen leeds is a character who is essentially a genius. Rather than he himself having full access to his intelligence in different areas he has hallucinations/ aspects that he has learned to create every time he learns or specializes in an area of expertise (i.e, learning a language in a day by reading a book and creating a new aspect that is fluent in said language).
The book itself is split into three stories that were orignlly short stories. While I did enjoy each one I only wish they could have been a bit longer and more fleshed out. I would have loved to delve more into Stephen's different aspects a little more but unfortunately the book was too short. But that is honestly my only real complaint. As a result it was hard to get that attached to any of the aspects or Stephen himself as we did not have enough pages to explore character growth.
All in all, this brought up some very interesting topics of discussion and I did enjoy reading this story. I think it would make a fantastic crime solving TV show.

I loved the concept and the characters. It's a thrilling and very different ride from many of Sanderson's books.
