This one was tough in ways no other book has been in the series so far. Gritty and darker in many ways as things you hope would be impossible for this ragtag bunch seem more and more likely. 4 stars.

It was good and interesting. These stories are thematic but that’s a comfort I think. It was interesting with the visit to the indigenous community and the connections that weren’t quite there. Still pondering some of that. The end was unique is that the case was solved, but maybe we don’t all agree…
