This was a story time winner! What do you get when you mix children, chickens, and one librarian? I'll leave it for you to find out but this was a delight to read. The repetitive phrases made it very easy to follow along and the bright and colourful illustrations also drew attention to the amount of chickens and children involved here.

Relies a lot on the visuals, which makes it hard for storytime if kiddos aren't really looking. Otherwise, it's very cute!
