did not think a book written in 300 ad would become one of the best books I've ever read. SOOOOO many good one liners. If your interested in theology I highly recommend, answers so many questions and is beautifully written. genuinely was food to my soul.

Read this for my Time and Crisis class with zero expectations. Was surprisingly funny and I found myself relating with the stark morality of Augustine in ways I didn't predict.

This book was the shiz.

This book was insightful, inspiring, and interesting! I very much enjoyed reading about Augustine’s life story, his conversion to Catholicism, his life and religious philosophies, and his confessions.

It took me a hot minute to read (because I was unmotivated, not because the content was boring) but it was definitely worth every minute!

“And all these as it were stars.”
