My son bought this book for me a few years ago at age 8, because he thought I might like it. It sat packed away in a box as I had no space in my small condo for books. Now that I've moved and have space it's come out of my TBR pile.

I was not expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. The twists and turns just kept coming at you, making it hard to put down.

The one thing I really disliked it that no one other than Mel seemed to be as bothered by this 38 year old woman having sex with a 17 year old boy. I feel like most adults who feel as she felt, not just swept it under the rug like Ben did.

This was a crazy fast read for me! Some parts I kind of knew what was coming, but the writing style was still super suspenseful and kept me wanting to read more. I loved that each chapter had a different point of view.

This was weird. Very slow and predictable, and I kept checking if the book was really written by a woman - there are so many passages that sound just like  "women written by men" clichés
