4.5

This book is pure insanity. WOW.

I'm giving it a 4.5 because even though it was NASTY, it SURE AS HECK kept me entertained.

This book takes a while to get going, but as SOON as it does, it doesn't stop. It's a wild ride until the end.
ABI IS A LITERAL PSYCHOPATH. SHE TRACKS DOWN THIS DUDE KNOWING THAT IT'S HER EX-HUSBAND'S SON (WHICH IS KIND OF INCEST), AND SEDUCES HIM TO GET PREGNANT TO GET BACK AT HER BEST FRIEND. AND THEN TELLS THEM THE BABY'S DEAD. LIAM DOESN'T KNOW SHE HAD THE BABY. LIKE DANG. THIS BOOK IS PURE INSANITY.

Lisa Jewell WOULD like this book. That is so funny to me.  This is a whole genre of books that I wasn't even aware existed until recently, and they are so messed up, but they allure me in so many ways.  I'm so scared but so excited at the same time.

4.5 Stars. Wow.

Thank god the last hour on the audiobook was an interview, that means the book ended 1hr before I thought it would!
This version of the book is saved by Joanna Froggat, a briliant audionarrator.
The book is a bit boring and the I guessed the big twist withing the first hour. But still not the worst book I’ve read, I like Adele Parks’ writing style.

Triggers: Adult/minor relationship

I wouldn't have read this book if I would have known about the triggers. Even though the first one was pretty obvious I was half way through the book when it was confirmed.

Overall the book was just ok. There were a few predictable twists. The book seemed to drag on and on. The actions of the characters seem unbelievable and exaggerated even for a novel.

It was so drawn out, and the twists became a tad predictable and in all honesty somewhat icky

It was no real shock to me Rob was Liams father, and the whole 17 year old sleeping with a 37 year old woman was not out of nowhere, just kind of gross
