I am giving this five stars because as a final book, I am mostly satisfied with how everything was tied up and resolved.
The blackmailer is revealed which I remember was a shock to me on my first read because I never saw that coming. Ember serves him what he deserves though and how she went about confronting him was chef's kiss for me.
Rio and the Horsemen were dealt with. This is the part of the plot that I had to mostly suspend disbelief because taking down gangs is usually a lot messier. Not complaining much about how that went down though.
The mystery of Ember's parents disappearance is the last puzzle that was solved and again, I did not see that coming. I admit, the first time I read this, I almost had a heart attack when I flipped to the last chapter. You almost got me there, Ruby.
Ember was such a badass in this book in that it felt like she wrote down a to-do list and efficiently got them done one by one. The guys have been amazing in supporting her and being her safe place(s).
Another thing that made this satisfying is how the author wrote about the group one year after, and then ten years after the final resolution. Getting an insight on how their happy ever after went was great. They all deserve it, Ember especially.
My only tiny, itty, bitty, disappointment was Julian. I wish Julian ended up as part of her guys but alas, that was not it.

This is the best book out of this whole trilogy, a little more spice, but all the twists and turns make it an interesting read

I couldn't put this down. The first two-thirds of the book was fantastic, however, the last third seemed rushed. I'm not a fan of the "it gets explained, but you don't really see it" endings. I also feel the relationship with one guy was rushed. Let's just say that Royal is my favorite, followed by the twins (triplets). I still feel that Hiro needed a long build-up and didn't exactly deserve the ending he got.

I liked the ending... then they did a one year later... ok that was fine, then 10 years later!!!! I didn't feel it added anything and made me feel like I slogged through extra chapters of filler.
Still liked the book though. Great ending (before the above happened!)!!

Loved this ending!!!
Great ending to an amazing series. I love Ember and her boys, and I am sad to see them go. But Ruby tied it up perfectly, even with sneak peaks of their futures together.

I loved this book!!! It was a great finish to a series I could not stop reading. I will always be a Royal girl, but Cas and Clay are a close second. I guess Hiro is okay, too.
I loved the premise of this series, the girl left behind after her parents run off with millions belonging to the town. What happened to them? Why did they leave without her? And how is she supposed to survive in a school filled with people her parents ripped off?
I do enjoy a decent reverse harem romance, but this one actually had a really great plot that kept me guessing until the very end.
