Never read a book structured this way! Tw, turned out to be about a woman's recollection of a lonely childhood that lead to an eating disorder. V beautiful descriptions of food and cooking and how entangled it is with childhood memories and the experience of becoming and adult when you've had to care for yourself as a child.
