maybe it’s because i haven’t read any of the other books (i picked this up secondhand because it was short and had a cool cover) but i did not like it at ALL. the ending was so rushed and the whole thing felt misogynistic. as a woman i felt almost unclean reading it. i understand the appeal, but it wasn’t for me.

The first non-Harry PoV. We get to see how much of a fight The Hunger gives him as Thomas narrates. We also get to peek behind the curtain of the Oblivion War.
Nice change of pace!

Thomas the vamp is one of my favorite characters in the series. Seeing Harry from his pov in this short tale was quite a lot of fun.

Ok, first story I read from the Dresden Files that is not told from Harry's perspective. And I really like that! Though Harry will always be my fave. I have to find the version with the illustrations though, because I listened to it as an audio...
