I really enjoyed this! However, I was expecting it to be about Christmas. This is the second Dickens "Christmas novella" that I've read that isn't about Christmas. But now I know that it just means it was released right before Christmas.

This year was finally the year that I tried another of Dickens’ Christmas books!
This was a nice little story with some great writing. It feels a little unusual for Dickens in its narrative style. He generally is pretty plot heavy, but this is a story of a string of misunderstandings that he unravels at the end. He intentionally obfuscates a lot of circumstances, and he generally does the opposite!
Not a masterpiece, but a lovely little read at the Holiday season with some memorable quotes!
