Another great essay by Virginia Woolf that helps understand both the differences between Edwardian writers and Modernist writers and why this change was so abrupt and so necessary. I am not a fan of Modernism -I have not read enough to find something that interests me-, but this essay makes me want to read Modernist books and poems and understand the characters' feelings. I can't help but share Woolf's resentment towards Arnold Bennett and his elitist remarks.
