This story spans a few years, starting just after the Vegas chapter goes home again in Boomer's book from that series. We still follow Boomer and Scarlet as they build the clubhouse and start their businesses and try to teach the city that they are there to protect, not harm them.
The best part of this book was an entire MC club going ice skating when most of them can't actually skate, I laughed for almost this entire chapter it was adorable.
You also get the tear jerker moments with Abigail, one of the victim's who isn't doing well from the previous book and Wolf, the guy who did his best to protect her when she was a captive of the previous chapter and helped to rescue her.
This could have used another round of edits in the grammar department but it's still a story with all of the feels and fun.

K.L. Savage’s stories just keep getting better and better. This story had me laughing so hard one minute and crying my eyes out the next. A true love story that I can’t wait to read again.

Rise like a PHOENIX!!!

This book picks up where Boomer (RKMC 2) leaves off.

The new Prez of the Atlantic City chapter has his work cut out for him.  He and the few members that were rescued from the clutches of the previous chapter have to start from scratch. The AC chapter has it's own set of tribulations as they begin to rise and grow from the ashes of their predecessors.

Through all the ups and downs, laughter and tears, Scarlett, his Sugar is there to show him that Reaper was right to entrust Boomer with the AC chapter and he has what it takes to be "Ruthless when the world isn't ruthless enough!"

"It's a Ruthless read that is worth it!"

WOW!
Welcome to the Atlantic City chapter of the Ruthless Kings. Boomer’s Rise is about exactly that – his rise as the new President of the new & improved chapter. He works to show the city that his club is nothing like the club they knew.
K.L takes us on a journey of Boomers self-discovery and him learning that he is worth something, even if he doesn’t believe it. We see how he overcomes the battles he has within. He has the love of Scarlett, the support of his club and the backing of Reaper. Boomer grows with his club and within himself to be the best Prez that the Atlantic City chapter deserves.
There is so much more that I am looking forward to within this chapter of the Ruthless Kings. Boomer’s Rise was the perfect start to this side of the world.
I laughed, I cried & I enjoyed every single page.

Boomer's Rise is about just that...his rise from the ashes! Boomer's previous book was about his struggle with life and his demons, and this time around is him trying to overcome those things, with the help of the other half of his world Scarlett Rose,Reaper and his Las Vegas family and his own brotherhood,he thought he never deserved, the Ruthless Kings Atlantic City chapter.
K.L have outdone themselves yet again with a portrayal of a "phoenix" rising from the ashes,a man who thought he was incapable of love, incapable of the life itself, but it just goes to show whoever you are, however hard it is,you can always rise from it,rise above it...you can do anything!
This is an awesome start RKAC,and I can't wait to get to know the other guys...this is definitely a tear-jerker,but yet another 5 star recommendation!
You guys rock!

* * I HAD BEEN GIVEN AN ADVANCED READERS COPY IN EXCHANGE FOR MY HONEST REVIEW * *

I am so in love with the Ruthless world that KL Savage has created. And now that it has expanded to other chapters with the same hijinks as the mother chapter, it just gives me the warm and fuzzies all over.

I love how one of the steady themes with ruthless is they normalize mental health issues in a safe and subtle way that just brings so much joy to me. As I am a person who did struggle with a lot of self doubt and negative thoughts about myself. Even though it is a fictional world, it lets you know you aren't alone. If they are writing about it, it's because their research or self experience has given them some insight into that matter.

I love that there are a whole new group of men for me and my Ruthless sisters to fight over....

Also Silla if you read this... And since we are grounded for saying it in the group....

Arrow is mine... I will fight anyone who wants to take him and juice boxes away.

This book is an expansion of what we love about the king's, it give us insight on Boomer and Scarlett whom we already love. Gives us small bits of what to expect from other newer members to the Ruthless family.

I can't wait to see what they guys get into, and see if there is anymore cross over between chapter.

I highly recommend this book

The book Boomer from the Las Vegas series should be read before starting this book. It’s a quite successful transition between the two series. I liked the characters from the previous books as well as the new ones and the story is interesting. The scating excursion was hilarious, I loved it.

I think every time I read a K.L Savage book I fall deeper in love with the universe they created. Boomer is such a special character to me because I relate deeply to those dark thoughts in his head. I absolutely adore his relationship with Scarlett, who is so supportive of Boomer and makes sure those dark thoughts never take control of his mind.

Scarlett is such a beautiful character who deserves all the love and happiness in the world. Her and Boomer’s relationship progressed so much, and I love that we got to see more of their relationship from their POVs. The two of them shared so many adorable moments, like Boomer is boyfriend goals. He was a dream to read about.

This book brings lots of butterflies and swoon worthy romances but like all K.L. Savage’s books the pages became blurry as my eyes filled with tears. I broke my heart during this book, and I did not think I would survive it. It was gut wrenching.

This spin-off series has me excited, and I loved getting a glimpse of the other characters. I have my eye on a couple members and I cannot wait to get to their books.

Boomer is my favourite of all the boys we’ve met so far in the Ruthless Kings series (okay, except for Tongue, Tongue is my favourite little deranged cutie), so I was so excited to see that we have another book with him! This was a great introduction to a new cast of characters--the Atlantic City MC. Like with the Las Vegas chapter, we get some hilarious road names that hint at interesting backstories, like Teeth and Void. I’m looking forward to their stories!
We get to revisit Boomer and Juliet and their beautiful relationship, and this book isn’t without its heartbreak. All in all, this is a great first book in the spin-off series, even if it felt a little too short!
4 stars.

4.25 Stars When I signed up to review the first three books in the RKMCAC series, I didn't know what Boomer had another book in a separate series. That said, I loved how Boom, Kansas and the rest of the Atlantic City chapter were trying to replace the bad memories with good and move the RK forward from community outreach to finding (almost) completely legal revenue streams. Don't get me wrong, this is brutal at times. I teard up in spots and I don't think it's going to get easier. But now I'm calf deep in K.L. Savageland, I kinda don't wanna leave. Boom and his sugar were so precious together and I loved the way the club started to come back together. I enjoyed this a lot. I volunteered to read and review a complimentary copy of this. My rating and review has not been affected in any way.
