Manjhi's Mayhem is the story of Sewaram Manjhi who refused to be slotted in place by caste or class and chose to do just what he thought right leading him through the most incredulous yet exhilarating adventure. This is an action-packed thriller peppered with dry humor and social commentary (addressing issues of caste, class & corruption) and is a very easy read that can be completed in a few sittings.
What did not work:
The book left me with a feeling of reading a short story. The ending was a bit too tame and lacked the punch a book like this could have created.
