The story was so-so, but the narrator mimicking voices (especially trying to make some of the women's voices sound all breathy and child-like) spoiled it completely.

I mean, yes, some narrators DO do the voices for different characters and do it well (Stephen Fry is well known for doing this well in the TERF's magic books). I'm VERY sceptical of it being done in a nonfiction book and this is an example of it being done terribly.

In addition, disabled folks have long been saying that "special needs" is not the term to use to describe us, and mental ages are an ableist concept.

No story structure. DNF.
