this was such a cute lil romance! proud to announce that I read it in seven (ish) days! the only real critique i have about this book is that i was not a fan of the ending!

while i loved that the two characters got together in the end, it lowkey felt out of place. in order for her to develop, i think they needed to stay apart. idk it was weird to me that she has this big realization that she needs to use her 'powers' to save herself and that power only really comes when we see her refuse to write book 15

. Either way, it is a cute, fun, spicy read that is pretty funny. its rare that we see these types of book with black male and female characters, so I'm happy to be reading one now and hope to read more in the future.

Loved it so much. It was moving and sexy and heartfelt. Very intense at times, but it really worked.
