Qué buen chisme me aventé!!!
Este libro es la definición de “pueblo chico, infierno grande”, porque es a partir de la Muerte de Adela que la historia se va formando a partir de puros chismes que nadie tiene el valor de desmentir por miedo al ridículo.
Creo que no es el mejor libro que escribió Arriaga, pero creo que es una buena opción para comenzar a leerlo.

یکی بیاد پایین کمکم کنه

دوسش نداشتم
روایت و موضوع داستان واسم اذیت کننده بود
اون شدت جهل مردم دهکده واقعا ازاردهنده بود
البته این فقط نظر منه
اولش برام یکم جذاب بود ولی اونطور که تصور میکردم پیش نرفت

چقد من سر خونسردی و مردسالاری این ادمای دهکده حرص خوردم..

در مورد قتل

کل داستان چیزی که فهمیدم:
یکی مرده
یه عده هم دارن به یه آدم اشتباهی آموزش میدن چجوری از قاتل انتقام بگیره و بکشتش!

Imagine being so single you pretend that a dead girl you've seen once is your gf and you get caught up avenging her death.

I was recommended this book over a year ago while wandering through a book fair in Mexico City's zócalo, asking for something representative of the country's literature - looking back, this was an interesting choice but I'm glad I bought it. At the time, I make it through a single chapter, barely understood it, and forgot about it until a month ago.

This story is short yet gripping. Arriaga does a great job painting a picture of the unbearable Mexican heat in rural Lomas Grandes and the culture found there.

Arriaga è scrittore e sceneggiatore di talento. E si sente. Le pagine sono colme di immagini che scorrono come in un film, scene che si alternano, inquadrature che si modificano. Leggi e guardi contemporaneamente.

Un affresco dell'entroterra messicano in un tempo non meglio precisato. Ma soprattutto un'analisi di quel che può causare il peso delle aspettative altrui, di come un sentito dire possa diventare realtà, di come da una menzogna, a volte, non si possa più scappare.

Spoiler

E un finale travolgente e sospeso, che ti fa spalancare gli occhi e restare lì, immobile, a chiederti chi abbia ucciso Adela, che ne sarà di Gabriela e di Ramòn.

Però non va letto dopo "Il selvaggio", non a breve distanza, almeno.

Me encantó. El tema inicial es sombrío pero todo pasa y se cuenta de una manera tan pintoresca que da risa y enojo y risa de nuevo.
Tiene un "feeling" Crónica de una Muerte Anunciada.
