This book was fun to read and gave many explanations about companions for those (like me) who have yet to see the classic who era. I loved the fact that It was written from Clara's POV, and the letter at the end of the book, written by the Doctor was bitter-sweet.

Another fantastic book. This one is special for me. I had my eye on it for a while and I added it to my wish-list for Christmas but I got it like a month and a half early...

It may not be interesting but it's the story of how and why I got it early.
Here it goes, Jenna Coleman (the actress playing Clara Oswald on Doctor Who) was coming to my country to the Heroes Comic-Con and I bought a ticket to have her autograph and to have a photo with her. So, they said I could give her something I had for her to sign or I could choose between some photos she had. That morning I had this great idea (at least I think it was) about buying this book and taking it there for her to sign it. Brilliant, right? As it's "written" by Clara Oswald who would be better than the actress who plays her role to sign it? Okay, geek moment for me, I know. It was so fast I didn't even ask her if she liked my idea, she just signed it adding my name (and she complimented my Doctor Who t-shirt). But hey, I got what I wanted, I have this book signed by her. And it makes sense for me.

Now, the actual content of the book is amazing as always. This collection is incredible and I hope they never run out of ideas for making them. It's so funny, interesting and full of information.
I can't wait to see what the next one is about.

5.0 out of 5 stars

So much information but the note at the end sealed the rating for me

Overall the book was quite fun to read. It is aimed at the "new" companion for the doctor. I liked all the tips and the explanation of the different doctors, aliens and companions. There were some things i actually didn't know about.
The only reason why it has 4 stars is because the book is written as a childrens book i feel. The language is easy and some things didn't really feel like the character. I think they could have spend a little more time on it.

It was an enjoyable read, but clearly a book aimed at children and thus sometimes the language was very basic and easy, it was fun to read though and the idea of a scrapbook was a good one!
