A cute cozy mystery with humor and a bit of romance. Heather teetered on the edge between adorable and ditsy, occasionally leaning too far to the ditsy side. And the book was too long - my interest started to wane in the middle. But a fun read nonetheless.

I almost took this book off my list because I saw a couple of bad reviews. I’m glad I didn’t. It was funny and kind of intense at times. A good little mystery.

I loved reading this book, it's hilarious and lighthearted.

This book particularly took me awhile to get into, I think because I had just finished another one of her books which was written in a completely different manner than, Size 12 is not Fat.

So I was a bit confused and thrown off haha but after chapter 2 I couldn't put it down. This book was meant to be for March but due to us moving to Canada I ended up finishing it in May…. Ahem 😐

I loved Heather Wells - the main character, she is hilarious. She is a modest, a bit impulsive yet ambitious girl who never really voiced her thoughts about the guy she liked but always made you laugh about what she thought wanted to do to him.

Audiobook- maybe it was the audio but this book was so campy and predictable. Also my name was in the book and I don't think I've ever heard my name said so many times in a ten minute span. It wasn't terrible and I see how people could like it but it just didn't hit the right cords for me today.

This book started out slow but definetly got better...the only thing that kind of bugged me was the songs at the beginning of the Chapters... But i would recommend this one.

I enjoyed this book. I could identify with Heather. Some other reviewers criticized the fact that Heather acted like a lovesick teenager even though she was twenty-eight. However, I think that was the point. Heather doesn't know anything about men because she was a pop star from age fourteen, when all her peers were learning about boys.
