Such a sweet book! I was curious If Reagan would get a story after meeting her in a previous book. I just loved how much Garrett loved her. There was little to no drama and it was such a beautiful story!

And we are back to spend more time with our favorite Brüe Crüe!! Just when we thought this series couldn’t get any better, Lacey Black gives us the swooniest of all heroes!

Garreth is everything he seems to be, there’s no mask or hidden agenda, he is simply a good man with a huge heart and eyes for the feisty Reagan.

This is a sweet, steamy story with very little drama just a beautiful story about two people falling in love. It’s a nice change of pace and I love that about Lacey and her stories.

Read this one, I mean you should really read the whole series, because all of the men in this Crüe are swoony, sexy and everything else you could possibly think of!

Sweet story. I loved Garreth and his love for Reagan. Reagan was a great character and I especially loved how she handled her ex especially the scene at the end. Felt like the sub plot about Cameron was a little random BUT I also hope she gets her happily ever after in another book. Loved seeing the other Burgers and Brew characters and where their lives have taken them. Can’t wait for the next one.

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Lacey Black is one of those authors you can trust are going to deliver a wholesome story with just th right amount if spice to make a fantastic read.
What’s it gonna take is books 5 of the Burgers and brew crue series by Lacey Black. The story follows Gareth, the manager of the bar, and Reagan their new employee.
They’ve known each other for years since she is cousin with one of the ladies of the previous books, Gareth always flirts but she turns him down. There is this attraction between them that Reagan refused to acknowledge, since she is dating someone at the moment and also because she figures he does that with every guest.
Our story begins after Reagan its offered the Hostess job in the bar and on the same night she finds out that said boyfriend is dating his secretary and dumped her… trough text. to avoid awkwardness before they all saw each other at the bar, where he knew she was going to be for girls night… real piece of work that James lol.
I liked that Reagan was very sure o herself and went for what she wanted. Once the obstacles were removed, we get pretty much the whole book of a happy couple exploring each other, not only physically but they talk and they get to know each other pretty well.
It is a bit fast paced and time wise its only about two months, it might be a little bit more.
I loved their first date, Garreth is raising the bar out here.
I can't wait to read about Leo on the next book. I hate that we need to wait until jan 2023 but ill be waiting gladly.

I would like a reservation at Burgers and Brue for Friday Night at the far end of the bar to watch Jameson play guitar, see Jasper, Numbers, Walker, and now the newest Garreth + wives and if Lyndee were to bring dessert I certainly wouldn't turn it away.

I love the Burgers and Brue crew and Garreth and Reagan were a great addition to the crew. From the very beginning of the book we see the flirt that Garreth is and it is apparent that he has more than a crush on Reagan but he has a need to stay professional at work. He is the manager of Burgers and Brue but he feels like he still needs to prove something to the 4 owners to make sure he keeps his spot. So Garreth and Reagan start their relationship on the down low and it just blossoms from there! I really appreciated that Reagan was direct with Garreth, she knew what she wanted and she made sure to always talk to Garreth and there wasn't any miscommunications between them which was a delight!

The moment I fell in love with Garreth was definitely their first official date, nothing like a brand new scrunchie to show you care!!

So this one is set a few years after the other books so it’s super sweet to keep seeing the world as it grows. This one is the funniest book by far and makes it such a fun read. The vibe of “can’t fight the attraction” is huge in this book which of course makes us fall in love with them and root for them along the way. Without giving away the whole story, this is my least favourite trope but I love when there is never a question of dedication to each other so this book was still super cute in that regard. The whole series invokes feels of family and community and how that sense of love is equally as important as a marriage partner.
