This book has many facets that I can't even begin to describe. The angst style that the author writes is so heart wrenchingly beautiful that I'm in agony the entire book. We all know these two should not be together but when they are it looks and feels right. When they are apart then everything goes so wrong. Drew is fucked up, plain and simple. His child hood was screwed up by his step mom, and the loss of his sister. It seems like the step mom won't stop until she messes up everyone's lives. Fable needs a chance in life because she is constantly getting the crap end of the deal. Can two young lovers who are messed up with their families survive? Thanks librarything for a copy of this book in exchange for my thoughts.

Drew I’m going to kick him in the balls next time I see him Callahan.

Oh, Drew. I was ready to join Fable's bull-busting committee following One Week Girlfriend. I was flabbergasted by the ending on the 1st book and debating if I, myself, could forgive Drew.

But alas, I totally did.
For a girl
As pretty as she deserves the
Best. No more
Lies. She is my
Everything.

Drew is so many things. He is broken, but strong. Reserved, but passionate. A jock, and a poet. It's hard to not fall in love with the beautifully wounded boy. Drew has suffered some of the most intolerable acts and unimaginable pain ever. So many moments my heart ached for him. Beneath his facade of indifference, he is anything but.

And Fable, well I adore her.
But time doesn’t stop just because my heart does, so I take care of my responsibilities

Fable is the epitome of strong and selfless. Feisty yet vulnerable. She walks around with the world on her shoulders, taking care of her brother, and mending her broken heart.

And when Drew and Fable reunite, the anticipation was well worth the wait.
Until the girl I love more than anyone else in the world strides into the room looking like my every fantasy come to life.

Their reunion is full of angst, anger, longing and regret. So you know what that leads to right?
“I’d use my hands and my fingers and my mouth and my tongue. Until you’d finally beg me to stop and put you out of your misery.”
I groan at her words. “I’m already in a world of agony.”
“Then let me help you with that.”

But Drew + Fable are not only incredibly sexy together, but proof that sometimes two very broken people can heal one another.
He needs me now more than ever. I hope I can be enough for him. I hope we can be enough for each other.

The pain that each of them go throughout the novel is incredibly sad. If I wasn't panting during their love scenes, my heart was breaking for the pain they both had to endure.

Second Chance Boyfriend is a story filled with pain, desire, and most importantly love. I fell in love with Drew + Fable in One Week Girlfriend and this book just cemented my feelings.

So I was experiencing a reading slump and I decided to read this because I wanted to finish this series so badly. And I didn't disappoint myself. It was a whirlwind installment and I've gone crazy for Drew Callahan. Darn, I fell for his sugar coated words and heart melting actions. I felt like I was Fable and everything was real. This story proves that even though both of them are experiencing hell and have their own problems; they can conquer it together while being in love with each other. I need to read the next book asap!!

I loved Drew & Fable’s story. They stood by one another trial after trial. We see Drew start to heal, and she proves how worthy she is. I hated both of their mothers. She stands up to make sure her brother always has someone in his corner. I really enjoyed this book.
