Bless my shitty memory! I forgot if this was going to be a trilogy! It isn't! And that's so frikkin awesome!
The last few chapters really took this to the next level and are worthy of that Stiefvater comparison.
[And points to the spanish edition for a more fitting cover art.]

Parlando del finale: sappiamo di tutti i personaggi, ma di James no. Parlando di James: WHAT?! where the hell is he?
Mah, pensavo meglio

I really liked this book it had great potential, but it seems the story took a long time to even get started and then the last 50 pages felt rushed to tie everything up. With no sequel, I was a bit disappointed where it left stuff.

This was so unsatisfying. The book and story has so much potential but is full of plot holes. The characters are bland and most of them are frustrating and unlikeable. They lack depth which makes all their decisions feel out of left field. The magic system is never explained. 2 stars for a unique plot at least.

I really liked this book!! I always love reading about out queer characters, and Sam is an awesome character indeed. I loved how the book effortlessly blends magic and reality, making spell work simply another drama of high school. The plot moves rapidly and each character is really well developed. I hope he releases a second book because there is definitely more places this could go.
