 The rising star of this book was Fenn for me, and I was just reading it so that I could get to the second. I really liked Casey and Fenn, not gonna lie.

Is it wrong to say I only cared about Lawson? Like I looked forward to his chapters best. I try to connect to Sloane and RJ but I don’t think we got too see enough of them as individuals to really care for them as a couple.

idk this kinda fell flat for me, i had to switch to the audiobook halfway through🙃. I thought the plot was super captivating and usually elle kennedy writing holds me entertained but I just wasn’t enjoying this the way i wanted to. That cliffhanger got me a bit tho so i’ll def be reading the second book!

Honestly I enjoyed this. I liked RJ and Sloanes relationship. I thought the characters were interesting. I am very upset Fenn was at the accident I hope it turns out okay. Also someone needs to love Lawson!

OH MY!!!! IM OBSESSED!
I’m shocked I’m obsessed mostly because I thought I’ll find the whole multiple POV thing overwhelming but I’m glad I actually appreciated it.
On that note, can I just say Lawson is the star if the show in this book! We love a bisexual king! I don’t even know where to look for his romance. Do I want forbidden love for him and the teachers? Or do I want him and Silas? I CANNOT DECIDE.
Again this is one of those books where the romance is subpar compared to all the drama going on.
Gotta love high school kids

Misfit by Elle Kennedy

If you love Gossip Girl, and you've enjoyed Monica Murphy's Lancaster Prep series, then you need to pick this up. 

Everyone says Elle Kennedy ans immediately talks about Briar. Me included🙋‍♀️! But we need to talk more about this one, cz it's bloody brilliant!!! 

The audio for this is fantastic and the voices suit each character perfectly. I cannot wait to dove straight into Rogue for more of a focus on Fenn's side but also... can we take a moment to appreciate Lawson as possibly the most intriguing side character of all? 🤔

I loved all the little side stories and the multi person POV on this one. And I loved the side of whodunit involved in the book too!
