OK to my knowledge this would be the last book that Chopper wrote before he died of liver cancer in i believe 2013. He wrote 14 books and there was a movie based on his life. Why? Because Australia loves to support and make hero's of there criminals! What does all of that have to do with this book? Well Chopper has stated from the beginning of his literary career that "Dont let the truth get in the way of a good story!" This book was written for his youngest son so that he will get to know the true Chopper because Chopper knew that he was dying! He seems to acknowledge his oldest son (same dad different moms) but the love and affection is all through out this book aimed at his youngest Roy. The book was much better written than his others but like all of this books it makes a very good detective that can sort fact from fiction. If you dont mind an easy entertaining read this is the one for you, however unless you were raise in Melbourne it doesn't make much sense if you dont read his earlier books and watch the movie! This dead ex con is luck to get three stars but it was a good senseless read! Make your own decision and opinion! I certainly did!!
