A quick 100 page read about his mother’s struggles & changes. Themes included abusive relationships & moving through social classes & the complexities of both as well as the cycle of abuse. I just felt the author was a little too hard on his mom at times, but I understand that was to show how his perspective & understanding of her was a transformation as well.
