With the conclusion of this trilogy, we follow Jackal, Kanin and Allison as they try to catch up with Sarren, who is running towards Eden to unleash his mutated virus there and end humans and vampires once and for all. But on the way, there are a few bloody surprises and some decisions about who they want to be.
To be fair, I only continued reading to find out how the book ended. And while it actually ends on a hopeful note and does have some important lessons tucked between the pages, I was not that overwhelmed by this series in the end.
