A weak link in the DoaWK cannon. In the latest installment of the series, the wimpy kid passively observes his family's foibles on their road trip. Sure, it's as fraught with hi-jinx as a National Lampoon's movie, but Greg is best when in the middle of his own anti-hero antics and this title forgot that. Also, I missed Rowley. And the Roderick of #2. This Roderick story wasn't nearly as interesting.

The second half picks up a bit. Most fans will enjoy this book anyway.

This is the funniest book I have read in a long time!
I would definitely recommend this book for people who are ten years old.
By far this is probably the greatest book in the diary of a wimpy kid series.
I will read this many times in my lifetime because it is a wonderfully funny book to read in a short time when you need a book to read in a short time.

Summary

Greg Hefley is a kid who has a mom a dad an older brother and a younger brother. His mom wants to go on a family trip and it does not turn out to well. They meet a family and they think that they have stolen their stuff. They also have car and directions problems so that they get lost a lot. By far this is the most hilarious book in the diary of a wimpy kid series

It was very interesting and the sarcasm and humor always gets me. I can never overcome this series and can keep on reading this series forever.
