And the last brother to go down. I absolutely loved this, Astrid was such a power woman and strong for standing up for herself, I loved her. As for Thatcher, I already loved him in the previous two books in the series, so I only ended up falling harder. This series is great if you need a pick-me-up, fun, cute and fast series in between other books. I loved them!

I love this series and this is my favorite of the books. A fake relationship with a hot swoony cowboy - yes, yes, yes. Thatcher is “purchased” at a bachelor auction by the town spinster librarian, but it turns out his great niece needs a date for a wedding. Astrid is a curvy girl who owns the town bakery. Her family is mean and shallow. She needs Thatcher to be her date as a buffer for her cheating ex, whose the best man, as well as for her family. Thatcher agrees to be her fake boyfriend for the weekend. But it is hard to stay in the fake box. They both have issues with relationships due to their pasts and it was heart warming watching them work through them to get to their HEA. This is a fun, quick, steamy, and heart squeezing read. I’d let Thatcher take the reins any time.

The final brother has fallen. Sawyer, then Huck…and finally Thatcher. Thatcher was my favorite of the three brothers, and I enjoyed his story and watching him fight the fall tremendously!
Astrid, the black sheep of her family, although she is smart, talented, and a good person. I hated how her family treated her.
Thatcher has watched his two brothers fall in love with their auction dates, but he is determined, he doesn't want to fall in love and that shouldn't be a problem since the old librarian bought him at auction. Oh my, what do you think will happen when he discovers he was bought for her great niece…. the kind baker, Astrid.
These two both have issues coming into this. Thatcher doesn't want to feel the pain of the loss of a loved one. Astrid has been betrayed by everyone that was supposed to love her, what will happen when these two get thrown together for a family wedding and try to pass off as boyfriend / girlfriend and not cross the proverbial line. Hmmm…let's see, hot cowboy, sweet baker, fake relationship…what could go wrong?
I have enjoyed watching the three boys fall (with Thatcher being the one to win my heart). If you are looking for a quick, steamy read with some hot cowboys that know what they want and have no qualms getting it, then this is the series for you. Light, easy, sexy, funny, and heartwarming. I recommend the Bachelor Auction Series and this book.
Each book can be read as a standalone although it's more fun to have the backstory in my opinion. A definite recommendation from me!

Not my favorite of the series but still pretty good. I will definitely check out more of Vanessa Vales books.

Hand Me the Reins was the final book in this series and it definitely did not disappoint. I loved these two characters and how sweet their story was. I think Thatcher was my favorite of the three brothers and I loved how supportive he was of Astrid with her awful family.
Book 3 in the Bachelor Auction series is just as steamy as the first two.
Thatcher and Astrid set the pages on fire with just a kiss. They both go into things on the same page; no strings, he's helping her out for her sister's wedding. But watch out when those pesky things called feelings get involved....... :)

I was so excited to read a romance with a male redhead! It's totally been my secret thing for years now but I can never find it in books. Well, Thatcher is a redhead & I adored him! While I've read other books by this author, this is my first in this series and it did make it slightly confusing in places where the talk is about connections between characters. However, the essential story, that of Thatcher and Astrid was just delightful. I really enjoyed that while Astrid came from a cold family, she has succeeded on her own and built her life and business. The interaction between these two characters was fun and playful and shows just how easy it is for misunderstandings to grow.

I seriously love the MMCs in this series - they’re all good guy alphas who are totally gone on the FMC.
This book is about the third Manning brother who is won at the bachelor auction by a curvy baker who needs a fake date to her sister’s wedding. Naturally her family are the worst - with the word count we don’t really care why, but importantly the MMC can’t understand how everyone doesn’t see that she is just perfect. (I just gobble up those sorts of storylines.) There is also some serious steam.
I really couldn’t ask for more from a 3 hour audiobook, and think this book is my favourite of the series.
