The family related heartache that this story begins with is almost painful to read but is well written. There's no doubt to me that this woman has some daddy issues. The characters have some obstacles to overcome before they can find their HEA. I cannot wait to read more of the stories that are tied to the club and related characters, as well as this particular series (A Wedding Season).

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. This fast paced quick read gives us a glimpse into Kendra's isolated world. Her father is abusive and controlling and she's finally reached her limit. She convinces herself that her decision is the best way for them to escape the monster they live with, but will Kendra's secrets destroy her chance at breaking free?

Good short story

This story is short, but really good. Kendra grew up in a crazy household which led her to Club Kaswell at an aution. Her bidder turns out to be so much more than she could have asked for.
