This is a great second chance romance. I was instantly sucked into the story. I must say at the very, very beginning I thought I wasn't going to like Kyle because of what he was doing, but his motives would soften anyone's heart. Ella is the one who got away and he's never forgotten her. You can feel the connection between Kyle and Ella. That strong pull won't let either of them go, but will family one again come between the two? What Kyle does for Ella is truly romantic and even in the epilogue as well.

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ I liked this trope the most - a second chance pseudo-romeo-juliet vibes.  I wish there was more development behind why kyle and ella first broke up. To have let that one conflict be the crux and continue into ellas fears as an adult was understandable but didnt feel pivitol. Im glad how it ended but the conflict felt silly. The steam and their love for each other was cute though

Well Built is Book 3 in the Book Boyfriend series but, it can be read as a standalone. Kyle Coleman and Ella Fisher’s they are getting their 2nd chance. Kyle and Ella were boyfriend and girlfriend while in High School. But, Kyle was not good enough for Ella at least that was according to Ella’s father. Kyle broke Ella’s heart. All because of Ella’s sister and Kyle’s brother. I can’t say why because then that would be a spoiler. Now fast-forward 10 years and they meet again. Not under the best of circumstances. Because Kyle is there to buy a piece of property that Ella wants. And, the story goes on from there.
I have said this before but, Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde do a great job writing seamlessly together. There is no way to tell who wrote what.

The series order is:
Big Shot – Wes and Natalie’s story
Faking It – Max and Hailey’s story
Well Built – Kyle and Ella’s story
Book 4? – I think this will be Connor’s story

I really enjoyed reading Well Built and I am looking forward to Book 4! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I enjoyed this one a lot.

Low angst, second chance romance, very enjoyable.

Kyle and Ella were in love once , but outside forces and their own anger played about in their relationship ending . Now Kyle shows back up into town to rip out Ella's heart again when he purchases the building she has wanted for 5 years to make her dream possible. One look at each other and all their old feelings come rushing back .
I liked this book , it was good . the love story was good and it was well written. However I just felt is was lacking something, I wanted more depth . but it was still worth reading .
