This is a sweet story about a little girl and her relationship with her mom. She takes something simple like her mom's sleeping scarf and transforms it into many things with her imagination. Sweet story and beautifully illustrated.

5/5 stars!
I just loved this book! The art was lovely, and Chino was just so adorable!! Her little bunny, too cute. This was a fun read, and seeing Chino interacting with all of her family was so touching. I've already got a few on order for my store!!

I’m a fan of the author and wanted to try her children’s title with my kids (thanks to a Goodreads giveaway). This story is imaginative and sweet. It follows a little girl who plays with her mom’s sleeping scarf to feel close to her mom while she’s away at work. It follows the arc of a day and everyday moments between the girl and her parents and grandparents. My four year old loved it!
Mama’s Sleeping Scarf tells the story of a young girl who misses her mom when man she goes to work and uses her moms sleeping scarf as a security blanket until she returns home. Beautifully illustrated and a heartwarming story, I loved this children’s book.

Chino plays with her mother's scarf that her mother wears every night while her mother is away at work.
Bright, saturated colors of the illustrations and large size will appeal (plus, lots of circles!)
Reminds me a bit of My Mother's Sari by Sandhya Rao.

A great story but it is very long. The book explains in the beginning why mama wears a sleeping scarf but most of the story is the little girl playing with her mother's scarf.
