While this was not my favorite of the Sound of Silence trilogy, I really enjoyed this book and the character development. Taylor Dean tackles very sensitive subjects head on and does not beat around the bush. She thoughtfully crafts characters who win your heart and you wind up rooting for them. For me, I wanted more from these characters-- I wanted to know them better so I could love them more and I felt that the ending was more abrupt than many of the other books. However, I really loved this story.
