The premise of the book seemed interesting. I am assuming that him playing hockey is not important at all for the story. The language also threw me off ("shrink", "puck sluts"...), I don't know, we can do better than that.
Story isn't bad, just lacking full character development and a connection between them. The writing is pretty basic.

Really enjoyed this book that is centred around grief especially around miscarriage. It was dealt with beautifully and respectfully and I really enjoyed it

I got this because it was a freebie on kindle. I liked it. It didn't take long to read, I didn't even realize how quickly it went by until I was almost finished.
I liked it. I didn't realize when I started that there was another book about Ryke and Kate so it understand why it felt unfinished when I was done.. But I'm not sure if I want to read the next book because I don't want them to be in anymore pain.
