It was interesting reading this with COVID still sweeping the world. It was a bit bleak at times and lead me to think maybe that's the track we're on too. However, the idea of the city and the way in connects to the world of the living was fun to explore and read about. The sections in Antarctica were an engaging look at how a person may deal with isolation and reflection on their life and choices (also relevant to today). The writing overall engaging overall. Of course, with the state of the world, make sure you're mentally prepared to read about a a global health crisis whilst living through one too.
